Neal
Pawley
trombone
Originally from Sheffield, England, Neal has been a musician in New York City for 30 years. In that time, he has performed on stage with many artists from Billy Eckstine to Tom Jones and the Allman Brothers Band. In addition to being the trombonist - and playing the occasional acoustic guitar part onstage - for Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Neal is also one half of the Henry Mancini-meets-Fatboy Slim-over-a-glass-of-wine/ Serge Gainsbourg-swingin'-meets-electronica duo known as “11 Acorn Lane.” Their music has appeared in many TV shows, movies and commercials. Pawley’s bass and lead vocals were featured in the critically acclaimed Americana band Bucktooth Johnson.
